Sophie lives in Addis Ababa with her husband where they pastor a thriving church, Beza. Beza’s community outreach program includes one of Tirzah’s most successful microenterprise programs on Entoto Mountain which serves hundreds of marginalized and HIV-impacted women as they launch dozens of small businesses and co-ops!

Fenny is starting Track Two of the Emerging Leader Program in Singapore. Fenny recently joined the Tirzah International Board of Directors.

Aramatou lives in Cote d’Ivoire and oversees several thriving microenterprise programs throughout the West African region.

Minah lives with her family in Cape Town where she serves at UBukho Bakhe Church and Beautiful Gate South Africa as the CEO.

Janice lives in Mexico City. Janice and her husband are the founder of El Pozo de Vida, a ministry that fights against human trafficking.

During this season of transition, a three-person team consisting of board members Jessica Thompson and Debbie Ardan Christian, and Tirzah’s Leadership Development Director Esme Bowers are stepping up to provide leadership for Tirzah’s staff and Global Leaders.

Dr. Lavanya is a Legacy Leader and the Executive Director of Nireekshana ACET. The organization offers holistic care with basic medical health care, skill development, and training and encouraging leadership development.

Anita lives in Canada and works remotely with her mother Madeleine Gouentoueu with FAM where she is in charge of external partnership and projects. Anita is Tirzah’s Microenterprise Director and helps with the Emerging Leader Initiative.

Victoria lives in Delhi, India and is the co-director of Kushbu, an organization training local women to develop true artisanal skills while offering them fair wages and providing a safe environment to create premium block-printed, hand-stitched products. Victo also runs a Tirzah microenterprise program for women in her area.

Violet lives in Zimbabwe and is a widow with two sons. She is the project manager of an organization called Talitha Cumi that caries for orphaned and vulnerable girls.

Tirzah’s Board of Directors is made up of an experienced group of men and women passionate about seeing the world becoming a more equitable place for women and girls. Many are directly involved in bringing about change and seeing women around the world rise to their God-given potential.

Judy lives in Nairobi, Kenya. She is the founder and CEO of Homecare Spiritual Fellowship (HSF). She serves as a Legacy Leader for Tirzah. Judy is passionate about developing women in ministry.

Madeleine is a Tirzah Legacy Leaders for Francophone Africa. She is a widow and has four children. She is the founder of FAM AF, a ministry which serves 15 Francophone countries.

A leadership coach, organizational consultant, and corporate executive, Jennifer Lopez has 20 years of experience with organizational change. Jen is the Lead Facilitator for the first U.S. Cohort of Tirzah’s Emerging Leader Program.

Stella is a recent newlywed who loves to sing and pray. She is from Sudan and works with young ladies and women. Stella helps oversee many leadership development programs and outreaches across the country.

She lives in Mombassa, Kenya and is the founder and CEO of Imani Collective. Jenny is Tirzah’s Global Sustainability Director and leads a course called Impact Ignited.

Isabell is the founder and managing director of Anchor Leather & Crafts. She loves to see women employed through craft as their families’ lives change for the better. She is a Tirzah Sustainability Partner.

Rebecca lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She serves and worships at BEZA International Ministries and is a Program Policy Advisor at the World Food Program. Her greatest joy is serving her family and working to achieve her organization’s vision of zero hunger. She is a mentor in Tirzah’s Emerging Leader initiative.

Racheal Nteeba lives in Tanzania. She is a Tirzah mentor in the Emerging Leader Program. Racheal is a manager of a fertility clinic and serves in women’s ministry.

Bharathy lives in Maharashtra, India. She is the founder of the Managing Trustee of Kshamata. Kshamata works with women who are vulnerable victims of gender based violence including human trafficking.

Gordana is married with three children and lives in Belgrade, Serbia. Her heart is for women’s ministry and her passion is to empower women through coaching and mentoring.

Esme is Tirzah’s Director of Leadership Development and serves other ministries including being the International Director of Church Engagement for the World Evangelical Alliance and a chairperson for African Women in Mission Network and the Pan African Women's Alliance.

Madalena lives in Pretoria, South Africa. Her ministry focus is leadership development and she works with church leaders from the Portuguese speaking countries in Africa. Madalena is a missionary from Brazil and has her own project registered nonprofit, MoveMe Project.

Ceceil lives and serves in Egypt. She is a mentor in Tirzah’s Emerging Leader program and her dream is that women would come to know their true value.

Njambi lives in Nairobi, Kenya where she serves with Homecare Spiritual Fellowship as the Executive Director. She is one of Tirzah Regional Leaders acting as an Emerging Leader mentor and directing a microenterprise program for the marginalized women of Kibera.

Suzan lives in Cairo, Egypt and is a Tirzah Global Leader and the Director of AWEMA. Suzan works with girls and women to support their leadership development across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Zsuzsa lives in the northern region of Serbia. For almost three decades, Zuzana has served in her local church, Logos Christian Fellowship, where her husband is the pastor. She leads the women’s ministry and also works as a counselor, teacher, and camp organizer for Hana’s Hope, an NGO helping families with disabilities.
