Stella is a recent newlywed who loves to sing and pray. She is from Sudan and works with young ladies and women. Stella helps oversee many leadership development programs and outreaches across the country. Tirzah supports her outreach at the women’s prison where she hosts the a Christian chapel, the first ever permitted. She also leads a microentprise sewing program for women coming out of prison so they can rebuild their lives.

Due to the war in Sudan, Stella and her family escaped to Egypt in 2023. She works with our MENA partners and has been able to pivot to providing support to Sudanese refugees in Cairo.

The greatest challenge in Stella’s region is the patriarchal society, lack of education, and gender inequality. The ministry she works for uses trainings, conferences, and seminars to help women find their way according to the work of God. Her goal is to help women who need work after they get out of prison. She does this through workshops that help train, support, and rehabilitate women in all areas of life.
