Esther Njambi Mbugua

Njambi lives in Nairobi, Kenya where she serves with Homecare Spiritual Fellowship as the Executive Director. She is one of Tirzah Regional Leaders acting as an Emerging Leader mentor and directing a microenterprise program for the marginalized women of Kibera.

Many women in East Africa are left destitute by their relatives when they become widows. Their rights and those of their children are taken from them. Widows struggle through life with little or next to nothing. Njambi’s walks alongside and empowers those suffering from injustices such as the Fadhili Women, a program for those living with HIV/AIDS.

Njambi’s vision is to create development programs and sustainable structures that will mobilize, train, and empower families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Njambi’s dream is for freedom through Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Praises:

  • We praise God that we did not have to retire any of the Fadhili Members because of financial constraints.

  • We are thankful to God for protecting the women during the El Nino rains which are still pounding the country. We praise God that these sisters have remained healthy.

  • We are grateful for the spiritual growth in the Fadhili program.

 Prayer Requests:

  • Homecare Spiritual Fellowship is building a permanent multi-level building to be able to fit all the programs which have run out of operating space due to growth. Pray for funding and that the construction will remain on time. Pray as we continue to run programs while construction is taking place.

  • Pray for me personally, for energy as I balance all the responsibilities on my plate.

  • Pray for the women in the Program to continue growing spiritually, mentally, financially, and emotionally in the Lord.

  • Pray for additional unique ideas that will enhance the financial resources for Fadhili women, so they are able to better cope with the harsh financial times and higher costs of living.
